Hello this may be silly but i need to get this sorted and would apprecoate any help.

I've just purchased GT pro, and recorded a couple of things, but have 2 problems. The first is that the metronome sound appears to be incorporated into the sound of the track, so is locked in during playback (I have the metronome disabled during playback). How do I record without incorporating the metronome into the recording, but have it playing during monitoring. Does this have something to do with how I have plugged into the soundcard?

I have a similar problem when recording multiple tracks, inthat the previous tracks are incorporated in the the recording of the current track, which is obviously wrong and leads to clipping.

Any info much appreciated.
